George Keyt Foundation present 22nd edition of ‘Nawa Kalakaruwo’

The George Keyt Foundation is bringing the twenty second edition of it’s annual
exhibition ‘Nawa Kalakaruwo’ from the July 18 -22,  2018. The exhibition is
open to the public from 10.00 am to 6.00pm at the J. D. A. Perera Gallery Nos. 1 and
2, University of Visual and Performing Arts, No. 46, Horton Place, Colombo 07.

This year’s exhibitions features 103 works of 38 Artists in different mediums. ‘Nawa
Kalakaruwo’ celebrates the work of both established and emerging contemporary Sri
Lankan Artists.


“When we see interesting work of Artists in events like Kala Pola or other
exhibitions, we invite them to bring their work here” said Mr. Michael Anthonisz, the
Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the George Keyt Foundation. A preview of the
exhibition was held on the 17 th of July 2018 at 6.00 pm at the J. D. A. Perera Gallery.

Since the establishment of George Keyt Foundation in 1988 it has been able to
provide platforms for new Artists through various ventures and since then, the GKF
has seen the emergence of new Artists and increasing numbers of participants.
The exhibition is supported by the sponsorship of Carson Cumberbatch PLC and their
subsidiary Carson Management services (Private) Limited.
